學校簿冊的設計以兒童發展理論為基礎，加入思維訓練的元素，以及本地文化的需要。家長是孩子生命中最重要的老師，也是學校課程成功的關鍵者，所以學校的簿冊設計是親子習作為核心，並且是重質，不重量。習作的寫字量以同一個字的書寫量不多於八個為原則，原因就是避免孩子出現疲勞線。孩子透過習作建立擴散思維的能力，自然地增進知識，成為主動學習者，就是「重質，不重量。」

Our assignments are designed according to child development theories, with elements that develop learners’ thinking skills and support local needs. Parents are a child’s most important teacher and the key of curriculum success. This is why parent-child exercises are the core of our assignment design. It’s all about quality, not quantity. To prevent children from getting tired of studying, we only give them writing exercises that include the writing of the same word 8 times or less. Through doing these assignments, children can broaden their thinking skills, acquire knowledge naturally and become active learners. That’s what “quality, not quantity” is all about.
